Cybersecurity expert at iV4 began working in field at 16
At 26, Caleb Freitas already has a firm footing in his career, which he began just a month after graduating high school.
In his junior year of high school, Freitas began taking vocational training through Eastern Monroe Community Center.
“I took computer networking courses and had a very good teacher and mentor there who trained me and helped me get my networking certification, CCNA, and gain experience in that world,” says Freitas. “I was also fortunate because at 16 years old I was able to work for the company my father was working for to provide IT services, as well as one of his friends who owned a small business.”
